Cosy cottage - ideal if you want a break away from it all. Highlights were the block out blinds in the bedrooms upstairs, peaceful surroundings, fireplace.The kitchen was really well set up for a small space and there's a beautiful quiet beach nearby, too - we were the only ones there!

This was a great find, a beautiful and clean cottage in a remote location perfect for off grid getaway. The cottage is spotless clean and well furnished with everything you’ll need. The host was fantastic with detailed check-in instructions and local info, very helpful, flexible and responds promptly. It was an amazing experience. We loved spending time at the beach, the local people are friendly. I would love to come back again in the future.

A delight. So many treasures. The gorse is in full glory in May, brilliantly accenting the browns and greens adorning the hillsides. Free roaming cattle, sheep and lambs, stunning sea views. Lots of birds with the cuckoo’s theme song serenading us from dawn till dusk. We also took a day trip to Handa Island – with puffins and many other sea birds as well as many seals around the bays.

​This with a wonderful Burnside cottage being a safe and cosy haven with all the comforts of home.
